It doesn’t matter what kind of issue you are experiencing in your life, the one thing that will invariably have a positive impact on the situation is a good night’s sleep. Most things just feel better when you are fully rested—problems seem less daunting, the body’s healing mechanisms work better and emotional pains are diminished. A good night’s sleep also leaves you in a much better frame of mind to tackle the issues of the new day. As such, whenever I am having problems sleeping, I will go out of my way to find a solution fast.
Sleep Techniques
When I am trying to get my sleep patterns back on a healthy track, I start with all the obvious tactics—a relaxing bedtime routine, food and teas that aid rest and relaxation, and of course I invariably use the InnerTalk Sleep Soundly program. Playing this program quietly, all night long, normally works very quickly for me. The most common sleep problem I can have is an overly-busy mind—either my mind chatter prevents me from going to sleep, or I wake during the night and the non-stop thoughts prevent me from going back to sleep. The last time I had this, I eventually got up so I could start playing Sleep Soundly through my pillow speaker. After all the tossing and turning I had been doing, it was fascinating to observe the mind chatter subside as I drifted off.
Sometimes though, I am aware of the specific issue or emotional upset that is keeping me awake, so I have used programs like Forgiving and Letting Go, Releasing Anger and Freedom from Fearswith great success. It is great to feel the tumultuous emotions subside and be replaced by a sense of calm!
A Good Start
There are plenty of times though, when I find that I am sleeping perfectly well. When I am in this place, I choose to super-charge my sleep routine so I can be even better prepared for challenges I know I will be facing. When I have huge deadlines I need to meet, nothing works better for me than playing Strategic Planning and Peak Performance all night before hand. When I have been facing emotional upsets, playing Freedom from Fears or Soaring Self-Esteem will help me start the day in a stronger frame of mind. In fact, I will often look at those areas where I was disappointed with myself on a particular day, and choose an appropriate InnerTalk program to play at night so that I can increase the odds of being more successful the following day. Enhancing Romance, Intimacy and Love is a great one to play when you want to move your personal relationship into a more joyful zone. Programs like Excel in Exams are great during exam time, but Accelerated Learning will also assist throughout school days or even while learning new skills at work. Of course, if you find particular subjects especially challenging, then perhaps you would want to hone in on titles such as Math is Easy, or Word Power: Spelling and Vocabulary. For those who are looking for a perfect partner, Attracting the Right Love Relationship would be perfect, as would titles like Confidence with the Opposite Sex or I am Charismatic.
A really interesting side result of using InnerTalk programs at night is the frequency with which I will find answers coming up in my dreams. I once suffered from a very strange allergy that would not respond to anything I tried. Eventually I played Ending Self-Destructive Patterns while I slept only to have my dream tell me the allergy was a subconscious strategy to get me out of a Catch-22 situation. Once I saw the issue, the allergy went away! I also found that playing Manifesting Your Vision all night long, filled my dreams with wonderful new ideas for business strategies!
Long Term Goals
When life is going really well and there is nothing I specifically wish to work on, I turn my sleep learning time to focus on my long-term goals. As I have said in the past, this often includes working with Quantum Younging as I never want age to slow me down, or Ultra Success Power: Health, Wealth and the Fountain of Youth just to keep my positivity topped up. My favorite thing to do though, is to work on my own spiritual growth, playing programs such as Opening Up to a Higher Power, Power of the Spirit, or Miracle Mindedness.
There is so much that I want to achieve in life that I really do have to find a way to maximize my time use. Using InnerTalk programs while I sleep has to be one of my greatest discoveries—enhancing my personal growth while sleeping is simply amazing!
So what goals will you work on while you sleep tonight?
Wishing you Love, Light, and Laughter, always!
