The question is… are your thoughts
helping or hindering the process?
Have you ever stopped to think about how much healing your body does every single day? A paper cut closes. A bruise slowly disappears. A broken bone gradually knits itself back together. Every day your immune system quietly identifies and destroys bacteria and viruses long before you ever know they were there.
Most of us never stop to think about it because these things happen so naturally. Yet when you really pause and consider what your body accomplishes every moment of every day, it’s quite extraordinary. Healing isn’t something your body occasionally does—it is what your body was designed to do. And that’s nothing short of remarkable.
That realization naturally leads to another fascinating question. If our bodies already possess this remarkable ability to heal, what helps them do it even more effectively?
A Journey That Changed My Thinking
Many years ago, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Like most people hearing that kind of diagnosis, I was frightened. The doctors explained that I would probably be taking medication for the rest of my life, and when I researched those medications, I discovered a long list of potential side effects.
I remember sitting there wondering if there was anything more I could do. I wasn’t looking for a miracle. I simply wanted to support my body in every way I could. That single question became the beginning of a journey that completely changed how I think about health and healing.
I continued following my doctor’s advice, but I also immersed myself in learning about the mind-body connection. I wanted to understand how beliefs, emotions, stress, expectations, and subconscious programming might influence my body’s own healing systems. If there was even a small way I could improve my chances, I wanted to find it.
Healing Rarely Depends on Just One Thing
Every evening I listened to Eldon’s Accelerated Healing program. I worked on forgiveness, challenged limiting beliefs, searched for emotional patterns that might be contributing to my illness, and asked myself some very difficult questions—including one that initially seemed almost impossible to answer: “What might I gain by remaining sick?” This wasn’t about blaming myself. It certainly wasn’t about guilt. It was about being completely honest and exploring every possible obstacle that might be standing in the way of healing.
Over the following fifteen months, I continued working on every aspect of wellness I could identify. Then I learned about a nutritional supplement called CMO and decided to give it a try. Within a short time, my rheumatoid arthritis disappeared. More than twenty years later, it has never returned.
The Question I Still Can’t Answer
People often ask me what actually cured my rheumatoid arthritis.
- Was it the InnerTalk programs?
- The emotional work?
- The medication?
- The supplement?
- The placebo effect?
The truthful answer is that I don’t know. Perhaps it was one of those things. Perhaps it was all of them working together. Perhaps months of changing my beliefs, reducing emotional stress, and supporting my body’s natural healing abilities prepared the ground, and the supplement simply became the final catalyst. Or perhaps the supplement worked exactly as claimed. I honestly can’t tell you.
What I can tell you is that the experience permanently changed what I believe is possible. It also convinced me that healing is often far more comprehensive than we first imagine.
Supporting the Healing Systems You Already Possess
Over the years we’ve heard thousands of remarkable stories. People have told us they remained healthy while everyone else at work came down with the flu. Doctors have shared their belief that a patient’s attitude and expectations contributed significantly to recovery. Others have described releasing years of anger, fear, or emotional pain and then noticing improvements in their physical well-being.
None of these stories prove that thoughts alone cure disease, and I would never suggest they do. Good nutrition, appropriate medical care, exercise, sleep, and healthy lifestyle choices all matter enormously.
What these stories do suggest, however, is something research has demonstrated repeatedly: our beliefs, emotions, expectations, and stress levels influence our physiology far more than most of us once imagined. The mind and body are in constant communication, and learning how to support that relationship can become an important part of a healthier life.
Why the Health and Wellness Library Matters

The Health and Wellness library wasn’t designed around the idea of a single “magic bullet.” It was created because healing rarely depends on just one thing.
The programs help reinforce beliefs that support wellness. They encourage forgiveness, optimism, resilience, emotional balance, and healthier responses to stress. They help reduce some of the mental and emotional burdens that can quietly work against the body’s natural healing processes.
In other words, the purpose of the library is to support the remarkable healing systems your body already possesses.
Just as good health depends on many different factors—nutrition, movement, sleep, relationships, emotional well-being, and appropriate healthcare—our thoughts and beliefs are also part of that equation. The more we strengthen each of those pieces, the better we support the body’s ability to do what it was designed to do.

One Final Thought
The older I get, the less interested I become in miracle cures and quick fixes.
Instead, I’ve become fascinated by the remarkable partnership between the mind and the body. Every year we learn more about how deeply connected they really are, and every year I become more convinced that supporting our body’s natural healing abilities is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.
Our bodies are already working tirelessly on our behalf. Perhaps the greatest act of self-care isn’t trying to force healing. Perhaps it’s learning how to become a better partner in the healing that’s already taking place.
Warmly,
Ravinder Taylor
