Whenever we are planning a road trip, Eldon always makes sure to check the car over first. Of course he fills with gas, but he also checks the oil, fluids, and tires. There can also be those things that are just beginning to be a problem but just not significant enough to worry about—afterall, we are generally just driving around town so there isn’t a possibility of getting stranded.
Approaching the flu season can be very similar. The fact is, there are a number of things you can do to boost your immune system, ranging from taking Vitamin C to maximizing your mind/body connection. As our Health and Wellness library is such a vital addition to your personal InnerTalk collecton, we have decided to put it on sale. This is a $279.00 value that for a limited time, you can get for only $99.00. That is almost a 65% discount! I have shared some of my own experiences with this invaluable library below.
Also, for a limited time we are offering our Buy 3 Get 1 free special. Just place 4 items into your InnerTalk-Store shopping cart, and the price of the least expensive item will be automatically deducted.
Mind as Healer
I first met Eldon when he was teaching at the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in England. It was a two-day workshop and one of the areas he spent quite a bit of time discussing was the mind’s role in health—both as healer and slayer. There are two aspects of his presentation that I want to share with you today:
- The learned habit of seasonal colds and flues; and
- The various benefits gained from becoming sick, such as time off work and extra sympathy.
Power of the Mind!
At that time in my life I would routinely get sick twice a year—as the weather changed from winter to spring, and then from summer to fall, I would simply ‘catch’ a cold. I had always put this down to the changes in temperatures and perhaps my delayed reaction in changing the kinds of clothes I wore. However, not long after this weekend workshop I ended up moving to the United States, where I went for 10 years without ‘catching’ anything! You see, I had taken to heart his notion that we get sick in order to avoid something and I didn’t want him to think of me as being ‘weak willed’ in any way—the things we do to impress a new partner in a budding relationship! Now, while this may sound really strange, it did provide me with categorical proof of the mind’s role in health. There were still seasonal weather changes but this no longer meant I had to get sick.
Reality Check
As I said, my spell of perfect health lasted about ten years . . . right up until our eldest son started school! Once Roy was in kindergarten, he made it a regular habit to bring home some bug or other, which would invariably make its way through the whole family. I asked Eldon about this: Why would the techniques I had used so successfully for 10 years, fail me now? The fact is there are some limits to the power of the mind. There are many people who participate in fire-walks, but I know of no one in our everyday world that can walk through a fire in the same way and come out unscathed. In the same way, it is well nigh impossible to immerse your self in a germ-ridden environment and not be effected. This would be akin to walking through a cesspool and not getting dirty or smelly. So, when Roy started bringing home all the germs from school, Eldon and I had to become a lot more proactive in how we dealt with the situation. Of course we pulled out the InnerTalk programs for self-healing, but we also looked at other issues that could cause us to be vulnerable. Was there some stress that we wanted to avoid by taking a few days off of work? Were there some unresolved anger or forgiveness issues that were causing undesirable chemical reactions in our bodies, releasing hormones such as cortisol? Were we feeling insecure and unsure of ourselves or did we just need an extra boost for our innate self-healing systems?
Mind as Healer
These days, Eldon and I rarely ever get sick, and I don’t remember the last time we were sick together. It can almost seem like we take it in turns to take time off! Whenever I feel that I may come down with something, I pull out the InnerTalk program for self-healing and I either do not get sick at all, or it passes very quickly. I have even used these very same concepts and techniques to cure myself of rheumatoid arthritis! Of course, in that instance I had to play the self-healing program for a much (much) longer period, but I have now been free of arthritis medications for 21 years!
Health and Wellness
These teachings have been invaluable to me and the full course is contained in our Health and Wellness library. Regularly priced at $279.00, we have decided to offer this collection for just $99.00! This library includes:
- An audible presentation on Health and Wellness (an updated version of the presentation I heard in the UK);
- OZO – Health and Healing;
- Echo-Tech – High Self Esteem;
- Power Imaging – Health and Pain Relief;
- InnerTalk – Self Healing is Natural, Powerful Immune System and Forgiving and Letting Go;
- Video Entrainment – Psychoneuroimmunology; and
- A Quick Start booklet.
This really is something everyone should have in their personal libraries, whether they have some chronic condition or if they just want to navigate life with the bare minimum of sick days. It is so much more fun to be healthy and strong, taking a day off now and then to indulge myself rather than being home sick. What would you do with the extra time you would gain from being healthier? Click here to get your copy now.
Wishing you Love, Light and Laughter . . . always!
