Volume 2 No. 5 FREE MP3 InnerTalk® Programs for You. The last newsletter we sent went out on the night of September 10, 2001. The newsletter dealt with stress—but not the likes of which the world knows today. We have placed some free sound files on our website that may aid you in letting go of anxiety and stress, coping with a sense of hopelessness or helplessness, dealing with grief and trauma as well as other issues related to our times as we know them since 9/11. We have also placed a number of links on our site for professional health care providers and the public at large. These links are resource oriented and may aid in the healing process. You can access them by going to: http://www.innertalk.com/griefandtrauma.html. Everywhere you look, there is evidence of a new America. In many ways, She is stronger than ever. Despite the pounding over the past forty or so years by various pundits, the spiritual side of America showed itself to be alive and very well! Despite the ugly politics and public embarrassments of the past, the American spirit rallied with such vitality that most of the world came to Her side, and in spite of ourselves and our diversities, the American people reached deep into their wallets to aid not only American’s but starving people in foreign lands including Afghanistan. So while we wept—we grew stronger. The steel of America was tempered by the events surrounding 9/11, and it grew stronger and continues to gain strength everyday. There are new terms in the news, like “terror anxiety” and there are new concerns on the home front. We see them and read about them everywhere. Indeed, I wrote several drafts of what could have been this newsletter. Then I decided that there simply already existed enough alarm. That’s when the idea to make some of our programs available free came to me. I am proud to be an American and to share freedom with all of you. We all at Progressive Awareness hope that our gift to you may be helpful in some small way. Thank you and God Bless America. |
