InnerTalk works by changing the way one talks to themselves and therefore their expectations and innermost beliefs about their talents and abilities. It's really that simple--and yet, not quite so simple. Here's why. Changing ones self doubts, self imposed limitations, negative self beliefs, negative self talk, fears of failure and fears of success, and so forth has not always been something that could be easily accomplished. Years and years of reinforcement from parents, family, peers and others--all that old negative no, don't, you can't, you're not good enough, you're stupid, your fat or skinny or ugly and so on, all of that old negative programming resides in the subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind is designed to protect us so in addition to attending to matters that the conscious mind can only guess at, it employs defense mechanisms to protect us. There are many defense mechanisms and most of us have seen them in other people. The bottom line is that these mechanisms may have protected us when we were very young, but today they may be the very things that prevent our success. For example, if one of your mechanisms protects you from embarrassment by keeping you out of the spotlight, then a desire to be anything from a successful entrepreneur to an outstanding entertainer will be sabotaged by the so-called defense mechanism. After all, successful people find themselves in the limelight even if only locally as within their organization with their own staff.
To succeed at anything we must first believe that it is possible and moreover possible for us. Telling ourselves or being told by someone that we are capable most often fails because that old inner belief speaks up, or should we say, talks back. So you say, "This year I'm going to really have a lot of money," and the old back talk in the mind might add, "Ya' sure, what are you going to do, rob a bank?"
For inner beliefs to change the inner talk must change and that must seem to come from the inner and not the outer. The outer assertion from self to self that insists on change will always meet argument from the inner but when you bypass the conscious mind by going directly to the subconscious with our patented subliminal message technique, the inner changes from the inside out. When your self-talk assures you of success then success can easily follow. When you truly believe you can succeed, your likelihood of success is greatly enhanced regardless of the goal. By bypassing the critical filter that might reject the positive messages that insure a powerful and positive self belief, InnerTalk changes the way you talk to yourself and that's why we say, "InnerTalk: when believing in yourself matters!"
